I haven't been on here in a few years. Ric just kind of reminded me it existed but I haven't been able to write very well in a long time. Not the typical writer's block, but I was diagnosed with MDI which means Multi-Directional Instability. I have been having arm pain for about four or five years now, but in 2006 it started to get really, really bad to the point where I couldn't open up doors or hold anything over a pound.

This past October they finally figured out that the ligaments (called a capsule) that link together and hold your arm to your shoulder were extremely loose and my scapula (shoulder blade muscles) and my neck were trying to do all the work so I developed myofacial pain syndrome and scapulocostal syndrome as a result.

The scapula one means that my scapula were turned at an angle and grinding into my ribs (it hurts) and the myofascial thing is that all of my muscles developed knots that wouldn't go away because the knots were used to try and bring more strength to the muscles doing a job that wasn't there's.

So I had surgery for my right arm in October and I've been writing a lot for the past couple of months for my senior project because I graduate in a month. Yikes. I'm also engaged very recently to a guy named Apollo who is in the Air Force and I have to move up to Minot, ND to be with him. I hate snow, though. We're also planning on getting a hedgehog.
